Cultural Connect Summer Camp:
The Cultural Connect Summer Camp program is designed to engage youth to bridge the gaps between all cultures and communities. This four (4) week, not for profit, recreational, full day camp program will allow participants to engage in multiple workshops, equipping them with life and leadership skills, a wide variety of fun, physical activities and opportunities to attend educational cultural excursions. A central focus of this camp is to educate youth about different cultures by immersing participants in the traditions, practices and rituals of the chosen culture of the week, which will ultimately break down barriers to unite us all.
This year, the summer program will be running from July 8th to August 2nd at Parkland Public School from Monday to Friday at 10am-4 pm. This camp is available for all youth ages 8 and up. Youth will be able to engage in fun activities and unique experiences, such as a visit to the Scarborough Bluffs, various places of cultural attractions, and a day of fun at the Junior Carnival! Lunch and snacks will be included. For further questions and inquiries about registration, please contact Nathan at (416) 264-0823 ext.221, or email him at *protected email*. Dr. Roz’s Healing Place will also be offering in-person registration at Parkland Public School on June 7th and 14th from 3-5 pm for those interested in meeting the staff and team mentoring your children!
