This page explains what Dr. Roz’s Healing Place, a registered charity in Toronto, collects through this website and what we do with it.
The short version
- We only collect what you choose to give us, and use it only for the reason you gave it.
- We never sell, rent or trade your information.
- This website has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies for visitors.
- YouTube and Spotify players on some pages may set their own cookies.
- You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
Your safety while you read
This page, like any page you visit, can appear in your browser history. If someone may read your email, it is safer to phone us. The button below takes you to a neutral website straight away, and the same Quick Exit is at the top of every page.

What we collect
- When you email or call us: your name, your contact details and what you choose to tell us, used only to help you.
- When you donate: CanadaHelps processes your gift on its own website and, unless you give anonymously, sends us your name, contact details and gift amount so we can thank you and keep the records charities must keep. The CanadaHelps privacy policy covers what you enter there.
- When you volunteer, or join a program or event: the details in your application or registration.
- When you visit: our web host keeps standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser and the pages you open, to keep the site running and secure.
There are no visitor accounts, comments or sign-up forms on this website. It is written for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Cookies and other websites
This website sets no cookies for visitors. Some pages include videos from YouTube and audio from Spotify: when you open one of those pages, YouTube or Spotify can see the visit and set their own cookies, under the Google privacy policy and the Spotify privacy policy. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. Our Facebook, X, Instagram and LinkedIn links only contact those services if you choose to follow one.
Who we share it with
We never sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with the companies that host this website and our email, with CanadaHelps for donations, and when the law requires it or someone is at risk of serious harm. Within DRHP, only the people who need it to do their work can see it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it (unless we must keep it for legal or safety reasons) or stop contacting you. We keep information only as long as we need it; donation records are kept for as long as the Canada Revenue Agency requires. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
When we change this policy, the date at the top of this page changes too.
