A Mother’s Love

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful woman with a big heart and her little sidekick, 8 month old Jude. Daniella Osman approached us to ask if she could hold a fundraiser for the centre. Being a first time mom, she began to think of how wonderful it would be to reach out to other mothers and organize photo sessions in celebration of Mother’s Day. As she was thinking about how to make this happen, she decided that she wanted to put together an event to raise funds for charity instead. She reached out to multiple organizations and Dr. Roz’s Healing Place became the lucky recipient of Daniella’s generosity. We are so honoured when individuals in the community go out of their way to show their support for the abused women and children we serve.
Daniella is truly a giving soul who I know you will be pleased to meet when you book your photo session on May 3rd, 2014. Sessions will be 20 minutes in length, cost only $30.00 and will result in five gorgeous pics of you and your child(ren) that you can cherish in CD format. Karla shares a bit of her story of domestic abuse and helps shed some light on this hush hush topic. Daniella wanted to share her passion and efforts on bringing awareness to the cause.
