Yes, We Are All Mothers! May 10, 2021
“God cannot be everywhere so he made women!”
“A mother is a human female that thrives in a half-full container and not a half-empty one!”
When I think of mothers, I think of all women.
When I think of mothers, I think of lovers, managers, caretakers, nurturers, selfless beings.
When I think of mothers, I think of someone you can lean on when no one else is present or available.
When I think of mothers, I think of all women and the unique roles we play in others’ lives.
When I think about what it means to be us……to be women,
I think of life’s struggles and all we have to endure because of the fact we are women.
I think of the joy that we bring around us and to the universe as a whole.
I think of the throbbing beats of our hearts and the labour we endure in being female.
I think of me…..a woman is ME!
Because when I think about what it takes to be us,
I think of the importance of unity, forgiveness and self-care.
I think of our inherent qualities that are constant and true.
I think of the attraction we have for each other that creates safety, inner peace, and longevity.
In a world that is rapidly evolving,
I take comfort in the belief that all women are mothers.
I take comfort in the belief that we will conquer the hardships of being female because we are warriors, survivors, space absorbers, saviours and mediators.
“It’s Mother’s Day every day!”
